Since the first time iPhones were released in 2007, Apple has consistently improved and released high tech phones. The iPhone 4 is the latest Apple phone to hit the scene. It has measurable improvements over earlier ones, and enough apps and features to keep you busy all day long. As a matter of fact, for many people, it is too much distracting.

The Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) formed a worldwide security standard known as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard or PCI DSS. The PCI security standards are operational and technical requirements designed to assist business and organizations that process card payments prevent credit card fraud, hacking, and various other security vulnerabilities. The standards apply to all organizations that store, process, or transmit cardholder data with guidance for software developers and manufacturers of applications and devices used in those transactions. Therefore, any company processing, storing, or transmitting cardholder data must be PCI DSS compliant.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard or PCI DSS was implemented by the major credit card companies Discover, MasterCard, Visa, AMEX, and JCB International to help organizations that process card payments curtail the threat of a security breach. Any company processing, storing, or transmitting payment card data must now comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). Merchants found not to be compliant could possibly lose their capacity to process credit card payments and will probably be fined by their attaining bank/processor. The requirements are designed to assist business and organizations in preventing credit card fraud, hacking, and other security threats.
